John Cormican

Part of the original line up of the Image Animation FX crew working on the designs and makeups for Hellraiser 1 & 2. He became one of the creative directors and finished up being a make up Fx supervisor. Relishing in the diversity of the freelance life, John went on to work on many films and tv programs and commercials as an all round Special Make-up and Creature FX designer, working on Gladiator, Flinstones, Son of Rambo and Dr. Who. John has applied prosthetic makeup's on Michael Caine, Whoopi Goldberg and Gary Oldman. Noticeably winning an Emmy in 2002 for his prosthetic design and application work on Jim Hensons Jack and the Beanstalk. He has taught many students at many differing institutions including teaching the now head of the Game Of Thrones make-up FX supervisor Barry Gower. John prides himself in being very dedicated to see the growth and improvement of students who get to work with him.
